What is TeriPod?
TeriPod is a micro-environment control system for reptile enclosures and other controlled environments. The system combines TeriPod Axis hardware, TeriPod Neo expansion units, software controls, monitoring, and optional subscription features for remote access, alerts, analytics, and advanced keeping software.
What is the difference between TeriPod Axis and TeriPod Neo?
TeriPod Axis is the main controller for your system. TeriPod Neo is an expansion unit that adds independent control for additional environments. Axis is the hub. Neo expands the system one environment at a time.
Do I need a subscription to use TeriPod?
No. TeriPod includes a free Basic tier for local control. Paid plans add remote monitoring, alerts, analytics, priority support, and advanced keeping software.
What subscription plans are available?
TeriPod currently offers Basic, Link, Breeder, Elite, Enterprise, and Zoo plans. Basic is free. Link adds remote monitoring and alerts. Breeder adds analytics and HabiSeer access. Elite adds the full software suite. Enterprise adds the private live dashboard for serious collections and facilities. Zoo is the institution-scale plan for larger deployments.
How many monitored environments are included with each plan?
Basic includes local control with zero remote monitored units. Link includes 12 monitored units. Breeder includes 24 monitored units. Elite, Enterprise, and Zoo all include unlimited monitored units.
How do trials work?
Trials begin when your hardware is activated after arrival, not at the time of purchase. Trial length depends on system size. Smaller systems have shorter trial periods and larger systems have longer trial periods.
What does TeriPod control?
TeriPod is designed to coordinate heat, humidity, UVB, lighting schedules, and monitoring. Available capabilities depend on your hardware configuration and selected plan.
What environments is TeriPod for?
TeriPod is built first for reptile keeping, but the same platform is intended for other controlled environments such as plant grow tents, mushroom cultivation, brooders, and similar use cases that benefit from monitoring and automation.
Is TeriPod plug and play?
That is the design goal. TeriPod is being built around an out-of-the-box, plug-and-play experience so customers can deploy hardware quickly without building a custom automation stack from scratch.
Where is TeriPod built?
TeriPod systems are built to order in Arizona.
How long does delivery take?
Built-to-order systems generally ship after production lead time. Current public site copy states a 4 to 6 week delivery window after order confirmation.
